Philips Entertaible - gaming experience of tomorrow

All manufacturers of innovative products demonstrate their technology at appropriate forums. Microsoft product releases always get a good coverage and thr launch of Microsoft Surface is no different. And quickly, there are posting are all over Internet. After the launch of Microsoft Surface, we suddenly realize that there are many innovative products that are similar to Microsoft Surface. And some, though they are not similar, they are innovative and worth watching for the future developments.

Philips needs no introduction. They have wide range of products including Audio and Video products. Philips demonstrated their multi touch and shape recognition technology based product Entertaible. This is also said to use BaryBass technology to take care of small-form factor bass reproduction. With PC based control logic and with a 32 inch LCD, this Entertaible is only 10 cm high, making it convenient for the users. Unlike the big Microsoft Surface, Entertaible can be moved around.

Entertaible concept is a combination of multi player traditional board games and electronic gaming technology. This enables simultaneous multi-user interaction.
